Das Rangers Spiel wird sicher heiß. Ich glaube, sie wollen unbedingt gewinnen, denn wenn sie das nicht tun, könnten sie sogar noch ausscheiden. Gut für uns, denn Rangers spielen zuhause.

 

Ich bleibe dabei: Alkmaar wird sich zwar bemühen, aber trotzdem keine allzu großen Risiken eingehen. Sie bleiben Tabellenerster - auch wenn die Rangers gewinnen, weil bei Punktegleichheit die direkte Begegnung zählt (wenn ich mich nicht irre). Warum sollten sie sich also verausgaben? Wenn wir eine beherzte und solide Defensivleistung zeigen und unsere Kontergefährlichkeit andeuten, werden wir das X schon rüberretten, denke ich. Hoffe ich

No, if teams have the same amount of points the goal difference will decide. And Rangers has the better goal-difference, so we need a draw to stay first.

Our coach again said yesterday that he will play to win (as we always do).

Alkmaar is in the Northwest of the Netherlands, about 40 km north of Amsterdam.

ich weiß ned. die niederländer(weil holland is ja nur ein "bundesland" der niederlande) san scho ein extremer kaliber: sehr homogen, eingespielt, technisch perfekt. ned umsonst auf platz 3 (glaub i) . das wird mehr als nur schwer....

Wir sind selbst 2. vor Ajax und Feyenoord und nur hinter PSV.

We don't have a team that can play on a draw. We can only play to win. But off course when the score is even late in the 2nd half than we won't take any risks any more and try to keep it that way.

 

im grunde genommen müsste das für beide österreichischen mannschaften von vorteil sein - ich kann mir einfach nicht vorstellen, dass ein trainer in einem spiel, in dem es um nichts mehr geht (die zahlenspielereien ob erster oder zweiter platz für alkmaar rausschaut sind mir nicht bedeutend genug) seine mannschaft bei womöglich unwirtlichen bedingungen auf's spiel setzt und im spiel einsetzt...

I think it will be a big advantage for us to become 1st in the group. If we finish 2nd we have to play one of the CL-teams. And 6 out of 7 (we can't draw Ajax off course) are far away (Russia, Ukraine (2x), Turkey, Greece (2x)). And the 7th is Valencia, which is European top. So that are not teams you prefer to play.

So I'm almost certain that AZ will take this game very seriously and will play it with our best players to have the best chance for winning the group.

weiß jemand ob vom AZ Alkmaar jemand für das GAK Spiel gesperrt ist bzw verletzt ist ? Wäre interessant zu wissen.

Nobody is suspended and right now also nobody is injured. Hopefully it stays that way in the match versus Twente Enschede on Saturday.

 

And I think it will be difficult for you to get the lead as the last time we were behind was on 30 September versus PAOK Saloniki (and even that was for only 1 minute ).

Nach dem Alkmaar-Rangers Spiel bin ich wieder etwas zuversichtlicher. Alkmaar wird wohl nur mit der B-Truppe antanzen und sich nicht unnötig verausgaben - wozu auch? Rangers müssen gewinnen und wie sie sich zuletzt präsentiert haben, werden sie das gegen Auxerre auch schaffen. Wir müssen auch gewinnen, oder zumindest unentschieden spielen. Jetzt haben wir es in der Hand, immerhin sind wir besser dran als die karibische Strohsack-Truppe.

Oour coach already said that he takes this match serious as he wants to secure first place in the group. So at least a draw is needed for us, but because our team can't play for a draw, he said AZ will play for the victory.

 

However, I think when it's still a draw late in the 2nd half AZ won't take risks and tries to keep the draw.

 

The only thing in favor of you is that there won't be coming that many fans to Graz now, because we are already qualified. I heard from a lot of fans that they won't go to Graz, but save their money (and time) for the 3rd round match.

But not me. I don't want to miss these matches, so I'll visit both.

Well, that's also OK. More than enough. I except about 600-700 depending a bit on the standings in the group.

I've hears yesterday from the man that in charge of the ticketsale at AZ that we can have 900 tickets for sure. And if we want that we can even get 2700(!!!) tickets.

But I don't think that we'll take that much people. I think the 900 are more than enough for us.

Do we only get that sector, or also another one. Because I think 510 tickets won't be enough.

Es stimmt: Alkmaar spielt zehr Offensiv, und in unsere Hollandändische Liga wissen die meiste Teams keinen Antwort gegen das Attack-Spiel von AZ!!! Auch der Routine von Feyenoord Rotterdam war viel zu angstig im Spiel gegen AZ und hatt's nicht geschafft (4-1 Niederlage).

Aber der Abwehr von GAK war immer Stark, also angst haben darf man überhaupt nicht!!! Gegen AZ kann muss mann einfach auch Offensiver spielen und Drück geben nach vorne, dass wäre die beste Methode um Alkmaar kaput zu spielen!!

Die Scwache von Alkmaar ist aber schon der Abwehr!! AZ hatt am Anfang der Saison verloren gegen PSV Eindhoven (5-1) und da warr's klarr das es teutlich Schwache Punkte gibbt!! Der Stürmer-Mentalität von AZ Alkmaar ist eigentlich etwas Nicht-Holländisch!

Theoretisch denke Ich aber dass GAK und AZ 50/50 sind in Qualität, aber.... 'The game is not played on paper'

The match versus PSV was the only one we lost this season. Our coach underestimated PSV then, as he thought they would be much weaker because some players left PSV. So he played another system as normal, and that resulted in the 5-1 loss. In the 9 league games after that we only conceded 5 goals, and 2 of our defenders are very close to selection for the Dutch national team now. Kromkamp already played in August versus Sweden and Mathijsen is in the pre-selection for next weeks match versus Andorra (not really need defenders there, but still ).

 

So not only out attack is playing very good now, but also the defence.

Also PAOK and Auxerre didn't get a good grip on the 4 attacking players we play with usually.

So I think AZ is better at the moment than Graz, but a lot can change in a month, so when we play each other it can be very different. But maybe we both are already qualified by then for the 3rd round, so the match won't matter that much.

According to the rules of the UEFA - if I remember them right - the away-team can get up to 10% of the whole tickets. In our stadium, which has 15.400 seats, you should be able to get about 1.500 tickets. So see you in December!

No, the UEFA-rules say 5% (so 770 tickets then). But how large is your away-section?

we aren´t the official speakers of GAK but I think all alkmaar fans coming to Graz will get tickets for the game! Is this game a "final" between GAK and Alkmaar, maybe it will be difficult to get more than 1.500 tickets.
